SymphonyAM is led by a seasoned team of experts in media, research, advertising and software technology.

Manish Bhatia

CEO

Named “Digital Media Master” by Advertising Age, Manish Bhatia is an early pioneer in Internet/digital research. With more than 20 years of experience in Internet and television research, business development and product marketing, Manish has a proven track record of creating innovative solutions and products that help clients navigate their way through new media.

As CEO of Symphony Advanced Media, Manish leads the charge in establishing standards for delivering timely, accurate insights to clients faced with complex media strategies.

Prior to joining SymphonyAM, Manish held key executive positions in the Internet and television research divisions of the Nielsen Company. In his role as EVP of Global Operations and U.S. sales for NetRatings, Manish was instrumental in the development, growth and subsequent sale of NetRatings to the Nielsen Company. Most recently, as President, Advanced TV,  Manish drove  advanced TV measurement solutions for Fortune 100 media clients, working closely with key industry players to develop new measurement solutions for the TV industry.

Manish holds an MBA with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, CUNY and a Masters in Economics from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. In his spare time, he enjoys globetrotting with his family.

John Fors

VP Solutions

A corporate strategy veteran, John Fors provides ongoing leadership for solution strategy and products for Symphony Advanced Media. John has more than 15 years of direct experience in solutions strategy and product management leadership roles at several software technology companies, such as Symphony Technology Group, i2 Technologies, Aspect Development, and Information Resources Inc. John previously was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey&Company, where he supported clients in telecom, aerospace, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries - primarily in the areas of product development, lean manufacturing, and corporate strategy. John graduated from Chalmers University of Technology, with MS in Engineering Physics, and also has Bachelor degree in Management Finance from Gothenburg School of Economics.

John is the company’s resident expert in survival tactics, having served as as an officer and company leader in the Arctic Rangers in the Swedish Army Reserves, and now spends much of his weekends outdoors in emergency medical and K9 search & rescue roles.

Haren Ghosh

Chief Analytics Officer and GM, Cross Media Solutions

As General Manager and Chief Analytics Officer for SymphonyAM, Haren Ghosh leads the company’s action strategies and media measurement solutions to help marketing and media executives maximize ROI. 

Prior to this role, he served in executive positions, including SVP and Chief Research Officer, at Factor TG, where he excelled at devising analytical solutions to solve very complex marketing and media resource allocation problems. In his tenure with Factor TG, Haren demonstrated a clear understanding of complex issues surrounding traditional and emerging media selection including various online and offline advertising effectiveness. 

Haren received an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and his PhD studies in Marketing, with a focus in Applied Statistics and Advanced Econometrics from Louisiana State University.  He received an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College in India.  He was a visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing at South Eastern Louisiana University before joining Factor TG.

Nigel Pratt

Chief Technology Officer

Nigel Pratt has more than 25 years of experience in software applications, database and analytics solutions and leads the architecture, design and development team at SymphonyAM.

 Prior to joining SymphonyAM, Nigel was SVP Software Development at Information Resources Inc.,  leading the design, development and implementation of their retail analytics solutions on multi-terabyte data sets called Liquid Data.  Prior to IRI, Nigel served in various technical management roles at SymphonyRPM  developing analytics solutions; i2 Technologies & Aspect Development managing development of supply chain solutions and information management solutions ; Gupta Corp. developing database integration technology; and Systems Control & Technology  developing data analysis systems for USAF aircraft.  Nigel’s extensive experience in large databases and analytics is being applied to the new SymphonyAM cross-media solutions.

Nigel has a BSc Honors in Physics and Computer Science from Southampton University, England and a Bachelor degree in Chemistry. In his spare time he enjoys skiing and travelling with his family.

Mike Saxon

SVP, Advanced Media

Mike Saxon comes to Symphony Advanced Media with 15 years business research experience in the advertising, media and telecommunications industries. Most recently, Mike ran Harris Interactive’s Center for Innovation, where he was responsible for developing the next generation of research techniques, particularly using social media and mobile technologies. Before joining Harris Interactive, he was Senior Vice President, Brand & Communications at TNS, North America, where he helped clients improve their ROI across their marketing efforts to enhance their Web and mobile usability. Prior to that Mike held executive positions at IAG Research and Nielsen//NetRatings. Mike has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
